Meg Pellegrini is a nationally ranked young rider in the sport of Eventing. She started her riding career at the young age 5 competing in Hunters and Equitation, a few years later she moved to California to train with Brian and Lisa Sabo in 3 Day Eventing. In 2015, her parents purchased her first pony Ganymede “Luna,” who took her from Beginner Novice up through Intermediate. Together, Meg and Luna won the coveted USEA Pony of the Year award in 2017 and 2019. Meg recently moved to Wayne, Pennsylvania to compete on the east coast circuit, where she rides and trains with Lillian Heard out of Windurra USA on her four talented horses (RF Eloquence, Dassett Ricochet, Cici Tops and Ganymede).
In 2019, Meg was named to National American Young Rider Team, where she competed both as an individual rider and team member. Over the years Meg has won and acquired many United States Eventing Association overall awards. To date, Meg has an impressive 3 FEI wins on her record and multiple top 5 finishes at the CCI2* level. She also recently finished third at her first CCI3*S. In addition to her successful show record, Meg is an active member of the United States Pony Club, achieving her C-2 rating.
Meg’s most recent accomplishment was being named to the 2020 USEF Adequan Futures Team Challenge. Meg is a rising star in the eventing community and we know she has high Olympic dreams and hopes in her future. We love Meg’s quote “I am so proud to be a part of the Zarasyl team and continue to use only the best products on my hardworking event horses”.
